About Flora Novak (Hungary)
Flora Novak (Hungary) presents Providence at theatre, Edinburgh Festival Fringe — a non-verbal object theatre piece written, directed and performed by actress Flora Novak, with original music and masks. After eating from the tree of the Fruit of Knowledge and leaving Paradise, Adam dreams that Lucifer shows him the entire history of humanity and its unavoidable failure. As Adam travels through time trying to find ways to prevent this failure, the values that dominated society at different times in history are brought to life with everyday objects. The 60-minute show is based on Hungary's classic philosophical play Az Ember Tragédiája (The Tragedy of Man) by Imre Madách. Suitable for ages 12 and over.
