Poetry from Palestine is a spoken word event at Town Hall during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, bringing together Mohammed Mousa and Dareen Tatour. Mousa presents My Death Is Not a Song, a performance and reading exploring the struggle of crafting poetry in crisis, drawing on works from the Gaza Poets Society's second anthology and his upcoming book. Dareen Tatour is a poet, photographer and filmmaker from Palestine whose work chronicles Palestinian experiences. She came to prominence in 2015 when she was arrested by Israeli security forces and accused of inciting terrorism for writing Resist, My People, Resist Them.
