Interpreting is about communication, serving as a vessel for clients to understand each other. Terp is good at his job. Great, even. He's a friendly doppelgänger, eager to serve the EU's top brass, and he does it well. But even the most amiable doppelgänger wants to be the real thing, and poor Terp can't help taking his obsessions too far. Through candid stories of his past and present and somewhat clumsy dance sequences, he walks us through his latest parliamentary crush... and his long-standing identity issues.

About Immoral Minority

Perroquet is a solo show by Immoral Minority following Terp, a parliamentary interpreter who is, by his own account, very good at his job. As a friendly doppelgänger in service of the EU's top brass, he excels at becoming a vessel for others – but his desire to be the real thing leads him to take his obsessions too far. Through candid stories and somewhat clumsy dance sequences, the show traces his latest parliamentary crush alongside his long-standing identity issues. Performed at Mint Studio over 60 minutes, it is categorised as theatre, LGBTQ+ and solo show, for audiences aged 16 and over.
