About the show
Parody of the Rings is a comedy theatre show by The Production Garden, performed at Other Yin during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. At a local cinema, all hell breaks loose when ushers misplace every DVD of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. With only the soundtracks left in hand, the hapless ushers must somehow create the entire three-film saga in front of a live audience — without visuals, without any planning and without any clue what they are doing. The result promises comedy, chaos and utter nonsense as they attempt to recreate hobbits, elves and orcs from scratch.
