About the show
Pandora's Bowl is a new play inspired by Alan Bennett's Talking Heads, exploring a woman's survival and a bowl called Pandora. Told through recaptured memories of childhood and the experience of motherhood — as daughter, mother and grandmother — the story aims to resonate with audiences of all ages. It stars Niki Mylonas, known for The Seagull and Othello, and is written and directed by Wendy Reynolds, whose previous work includes An Evening with Sir Thomas More and Survivors. The show is produced by No Frills Theatre Company.
Why see this show?
A tender, intimate play about memory, family and survival — the kind of quiet, personal storytelling that the Fringe does best. If you know Alan Bennett's work, you'll recognise the form; if you don't, this is a gentle introduction to it.
