Palestine Comedy Club and The Stand Comedy Club present Palestine Stands Up at Stand 1 — a comedy night featuring Alaa Shehada (Jenin), Diana Sweity (Hebron), Hanna Shammas (Haifa) and Sami Abu-Wardeh (London). PalCom is a Palestinian-UK collective developing comedy unique to the Palestinian experience, providing a platform for Palestinian artists to create comedy from the everyday realities of their lives. Diana, Hanna and Alaa each bring a distinct and unexpected perspective on living and laughing under occupation. Runs for 60 minutes, suitable for ages 14 and over.
