About the show
Ollipops is a dark comedy about Stockholm syndrome and class difference. Posh nepo-baby-turned-socialite Bambi is kidnapped by closed-off working lad Oliver and falls in love with him despite his best efforts. Polar opposites, both are stuck in their situation through no fault of their own, and both need a way out — one more so than the other. As Oliver shows Bambi how to enjoy the little things in life, she remains optimistic throughout, despite her circumstances. A new writing piece from State ae That Theatre, running 50 minutes at the Studio.
Why see this show?
