About the show
No Room at the Inn is a new writing comedy from Kestrel Eye Productions, performed at Theatre 1 as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Grouchy innkeeper Isaac is not expecting any more guests — but when two angels arrive to prepare him for the arrival of a certain divine couple, things do not go to plan. The show asks whether Isaac can change his cold-hearted ways before it is too late. Described as absurd comedy with wit aplenty and purpose flipped on its head, it runs for 50 minutes and is recommended for audiences aged 14 and over.
Why see this show?
A compact absurdist comedy that plays the Nativity premise entirely for laughs, without reverence or sentimentality. If you want something witty and cheerfully irreverent, this fits the bill.
