No Good Drunk is a solo Southern Gothic drama by Stacie Burrows, blending film, theatre, original songs and true stories. Set against a backdrop of dive bars and graveyards, Burrows travels to El Paso, Texas, where her grandfather drank himself to death in the fifties and wound up buried in another woman's grave. Moving through generations of her family, the show explores how history doesn't always repeat itself, but it often rhymes. A tribute to the perseverance of women who carried on raising children despite being tethered to an addict. Running 60 minutes at Attic, Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
