About Moonlight
Moonlight Sonata by Candlelight is a 60-minute classical piano recital held in the atmospheric surroundings of St Vincent's candlelit chapel. Pianist Matthew Shiel performs Beethoven's Waldstein and Moonlight sonatas alongside Liszt's virtuosic piano transcription of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. The programme also includes Beethoven's compositions inspired by Highland dances. Suitable for ages 8 and over, tickets are priced at £14.50. Please note the venue is dark and lit by candlelight throughout.
