Mary, Queen of Rock! is a musical comedy by Pretty Knickers Productions at Cowbarn. Set in 1561, the Scottish Reformation has enforced an outright ban on rock'n'roll — until Mary Stuart arrives as one of the world's biggest and most iconic musical artists, who also happens to be the undisputed Queen of Rock. With the Scottish nobles and her cousin in England against her, the question is whether Mary can get the country rocking, or whether heads will roll. The show runs 90 minutes, is suitable for audiences aged 12 and over, and tickets start from £12.
