The Hillsook Weddeen is one of Shetland's best folktales, taking listeners back to life in Shetland in the late eighteen-hundreds — exploring crofting, fishing and other traditions. But there is more to this story than meets the eye: through it we encounter the trows, creatures of Shetland folklore, and venture into their world.
