About Lowri Mathias
Leglock is a one-man show set in the north-west of England, following James, an amateur cage fighter and teenager who has just won the biggest fight of his career. As the adrenaline fades and he changes back into his street clothes, James begins to question the career path he is on and how much genuine choice he had in taking it. The show explores cage fighting, working-class masculinity, and what it means to be young and striving to make something of yourself in today's post-austerity landscape.
