LA Baby is a darkly comedic one-person theatre show from Ambrosine Davies at Playground 2, drawn from her nine years in Los Angeles. Davies arrives full of comedy aspirations and leaves with absurd stories and survival skills: cringeworthy auditions, odd jobs and a nanny gig with an Orthodox family in the middle of an expensive divorce. As her relationship with an abusive partner escalates from toxic to terrifying, and stalking and death threats become part of daily life, she ultimately escapes and returns to London.
