Katie Mitchell: Spine Hygiene is a stand-up comedy show about a very silly obsession with a serious pain in the back. After a minor back injury, Katie Mitchell has become consumed by all things spinal — how spines work, why they hurt, and why the only ones making sense are two rats from IKEA. The show features scientists, rats, odd bathroom-encounters and nineties girl-groups, and comes with strict audience rules: no laughter, no sudden movements, and you must sneeze upwards. This is Katie's full-run debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
