Julia. 1984, by withintheatre, picks up after the events of Orwell's dystopian novel. After enduring torture in the Ministry of Love, Julia is released and reunited with her sister. Closely monitored by a telescreen, the two women cannot speak freely. Determined to find out who reported her and her lover Winston to the police a year ago, Julia returns to her ex-torturer, Thought Police officer O'Brien — but finds herself drawn into a dangerous mind game.
