About the show

Joshua Bethania is a comedian who won So You Think You're Funny in 2022, and in this show he presents an early version of his second hour. The material explores the tension between being an optimist and an unapologetic cynic, with Bethania asking whether a little madness might actually be the most rational response to the world. As a work in progress, the show is deliberately open-ended: he hasn't figured out the conclusion yet, and audiences are invited along for the process of working it out.
