Hi, hope you're ok. My show is about hope. It's also about mental illness, good liars, bad ideas, Lorraine Kelly and a gang lord forcing me to hold a raw chicken. But it's mostly about hope. I live with a complex mental illness called borderline personality disorder (BPD) and I started writing this, about that, in January 2020. It's been a long 5 years, but I'm finally here. Please come. I wrote it for you. 'Searingly funny... informative and surprisingly moving' (Telegraph).

About the show

Joe Tracini and Norwich Theatre present this solo show at Ermintrude — a comedy about hope, mental illness, good liars, bad ideas, Lorraine Kelly and a gang lord forcing Tracini to hold a raw chicken. Written over a long stretch of years, the show centres on Tracini's experience of living with a complex mental illness called borderline personality disorder (BPD). He describes the show as being mostly about hope, and invites audiences to come because he wrote it for them. The Telegraph called it searingly funny, informative and surprisingly moving.
