Dr Brianna Robertson-Kirkland presents a 60-minute illustrated talk and musical exploration of the Corri family, tracing their journey from the Italian Jacobite court to Edinburgh's St Cecilia's Hall in 1771. Charles Edward Stuart's personal musicians, Domenico and Francesca Corri, arrived in Scotland with their brother John and — despite their Jacobite links, Roman Catholic faith, bankruptcy and legal battles — became one of the most important and powerful musical families in Scotland. The event combines images, storytelling and song. Performed at The Concert Room, Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025. Age guidance: 12+.
