The artist known as Serafine is a dancer and body-focused researcher who approaches movement as a philosophical undertaking and political project. IV is a quartet bringing together bodies in movement and stillness, in light and in darkness, creating a series of tableaux that unfold and fracture into moments of blissed-out dancing. The work considers cycles, time, divination and decomposition — a choreographic machine that meditates on the space between instinctive rhythms and clock time. Presented as part of the Here and Now showcase.
