About Iona Fyfe
Iona Fyfe is one of Scotland's foremost folksingers, showcasing her passion for the Scots language through traditional repertoire, translations and self-penned songs. A graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she has toured extensively in the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA. A fierce advocate for the official recognition of the Scots language, she led a successful campaign to pressure Spotify into adding Scots to its list of languages. The current winner of Scots Singer of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, she presents a solo vocal and piano show running for 60 minutes.
