About the show
Imprints is a coming-of-age mystery from The Palimpsest Project, playing at the Anatomy Lecture Theatre at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Inspired by lived experiences, the show follows Charlie, who is confronted at a party by fragmented memories and a growing mystery about a person called Max. Using live cinema, puppetry and dreamlike soundscapes, the company reconstructs memories in real time to explore memory loss, queer identity and the process of piecing together the past.
