About Christopher Brett Bailey
Christopher Brett Bailey performs this screwball monologue described as Fear and Loathing meets South Park. Two miles north of Hell, a nameless deadbeat narrator spots Satan buying soy milk at a convenience store. Satan turns out to be a washed-up has-been who has lost his edge — until he falls in love with the narrator and the two embark on a debauched misadventure that is by turns slapstick, violent, whimsical, dreamlike and tender. Part romance, part buddy comedy, part body horror.
Why see this show?
A genuinely strange and singular monologue — darkly funny, unexpectedly tender, and unlike almost anything else at the Fringe. Bailey commits fully to the absurdity and the result is compelling.
