About On The Fly
Hood is a new play with music presented by On The Fly, a student and youth company, at Just the Fancy Room during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. After a routine heist at a masquerade goes wrong, Robin and the Merry Men find themselves in trouble when the daughter of a local aristocrat, Briar Rose, stumbles upon Robin's true identity. A tangle of discoveries unfolds as they must figure out how to save one another. The show is a contemporary rediscovery of the ballad of Robin Hood, exploring the dynamics of femininity. It runs for 60 minutes and is suitable for audiences aged 12 and over.
