About the show
Good Tidings is an immersive theatrical seance presented by Los Angeles Theatre Initiative at Upper Theatre (Thrust) on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Created in collaboration with students from Loyola Marymount University and UCLA, the show makes its international debut. After the death of a commune's spiritual leader, the community must gather to crown a successor. The audience joins the ensemble in performing a seance, coming face to face with the pressure of power and the burdens of grief, and meeting characters who haunt the narrative despite being physically absent. Suitable for ages 12 and over, running 60 minutes.
Why see this show?
A rare chance to be part of a story rather than merely observe it — an immersive seance that puts grief, power and succession at the centre. Thoughtfully collaborative and genuinely affecting theatre making its international debut.
