About Callum Patrick Hughes and Fake Escape
Callum Patrick Hughes and Fake Escape return to Pleasance with God Is Dead and I Killed Him, a show about rebellion, belief, and the things that refuse to stay buried. When finding Jesus turns out to be the most hardcore act of rebellion against already-rebel parents, Callum's past comes back to haunt him. Through live underscoring, razor-sharp storytelling, and a whole lot of holy sh*t, the 60-minute show explores belief and regret with dark humour. Age guidance is 12+. The show contains strong language, audience participation, and references to substance and alcohol abuse.
Why see this show?
A sharp, emotionally honest piece of live storytelling with music underneath it — Callum digs into belief, family, and the ghosts we conjure for ourselves. Funny, unsettling, and ultimately human.
