Garbanzo is a solo theatre show performed by Emily Briggs and directed by Andreia Simões, presented at Fern Studio at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A laughter-inducing, matriarchal extravaganza: dancing cows, haphazard piano waltzes and chocolate oat milk. This Keep It Fringe Award recipient is for everyone who strives to be the changes they wish to see. Despite all the cattle, Garbanzo is touchingly human. A blend of theatre, stand-up comedy and physical performance, it is flagrantly kitschy yet warm. Developed with support from Shetland Arts Development Agency and Access All Arts. Running 50 minutes, age guidance is 16+.
