Frances Mercanti-Anthony is a Broadway actor who fell in love with a burly, bearded Maine man at age 40 and relocated from the suburbs of New Jersey to the rural coast of Maine. The show is described as being like a holiday romantic comedy but with considerably more profanity. After arriving in a land of snow and lobsters, Frances had two babies and documents her journey of finding happiness in her forties — a happiness she discovers has nothing to do with her dress size.
