Fragments of Fatigue
Crak'd Mirror Productions • Student/Youth company
About the show
Fragments of Fatigue is a brand new play from Crak'd Mirror Productions about narcolepsy — a rare neurological illness — told from a true-life perspective. Written by and starring Kerri Chester, it is a coming-of-age story that explores how much fight is required to live with the fatigue the condition brings. The company is a newly formed group of recent graduates from London who believe in theatre in its rawest form, and aim to decentre and connect people through dialogue, movement and collaboration. The show runs 50 minutes and carries content warnings for distressing themes and strong language. Suitable for audiences aged 16 and over.
Why see this show?
A rare theatrical treatment of narcolepsy — written and performed from personal experience — by a newly formed company with a clear commitment to authentic, raw storytelling. The combination of coming-of-age narrative and true-life grounding makes Fragments of Fatigue a compelling new writing proposition.
