Footballers' Wives: The Musical is a new British musical by Wildpark Entertainment and Big Broad Productions, presented at Music Hall during Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Set in 2002 when Premier League football was the new rock'n'roll, the show includes singing, dancing, attempted murder, drug-taking, noughties fashion, and absolutely no football. Running 80 minutes, rated 14+, with content warnings for distressing themes, scenes of a sexual nature, and strong language.
Why see this show?
A gleefully committed adaptation of the iconic TV series — Tanya Turner's scheming and the full excess of 2002 Premier League glamour brought to life on stage with singing, dancing, and absolutely no football. Knowing, sharp, and unapologetically OTT.
