About Funtopher
FISH is a one-woman clown show from NYC-born performer Funmi, in which she plays a fish who desperately wants to be human. To succeed, Fish must learn to walk, learn to talk and learn to do the most human thing of all: struggle with the crushing weight of existential worry in this stupid flesh suit. Directed and co-devised by Chris Manley, the show is ultimately about finding joy, purpose and community in a very strange and dark moment in human history. A solo performance blending clown with comedy.
