About the show
In the Fields Project presents Fields (Extract) at DB 3, a playful and poetic contemporary dance performance that draws audiences into a textured landscape of stone. The episodic narrative offers snapshots of lives lived out amidst stony ground, taking in agricultural labouring and the toil of turning stony ground across ages past, present and perhaps yet to come. Layered with detail and set to an intermittent sound score, the show closes with the scraping of boots and laying down to rest on pillows of stone. The performance runs for 60 minutes and is suitable for all ages.
