Failsafe is a pitch-black comedy by Trophy Wife / Rhymes with Purple, performed at the Meeting Room as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Ivy and Jones are two deadbeat twenty-somethings looking for a way out. Ivy wants to die but not alone; Jones is willing but doesn't want to die a virgin. After four going on five failed attempts they're still breathing, and a violent solution eventually materialises. The show is described as a comedy about escaping a rotten life by finding a gun and finally pulling the trigger. It runs for 90 minutes and is suitable for ages 16 and above.
