Evelyn is a contemporary physical theatre piece by Piccolo Teatro Libero / Associazione Culturale LLUM at Space 2 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The show translates human frailty in the face of imposed patterns onto the stage. Evelyn, the protagonist, finds herself locked inside a cramped space, manipulated and bombarded by a constant, pressing presence of messages and information. She cannot be herself — alone and induced, transformed to the point of being comic, funny, and at times tragic. It is an ironically dramatic journey through daily life, punctuated by fake rituals, and runs for 50 minutes. Suitable for ages 14 and over.
