Dear Library Story Sessions are free, 30-minute lunchtime readings hosted in the Exhibition Hall Events space by the National Library of Scotland with Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature. The sessions mark the centenary of the National Library of Scotland in 2025 and are inspired by its Dear Library exhibition celebrating the power of books and libraries across the country. On each of six lunchtimes during festival season, two Scottish writers read from their own work alongside books that shaped them. Audiences will be standing throughout. Suitable for ages 12 and over.
