About Tiger and Marks
Tiger and Marks present this one-person show theatricalising aspects of the life of artist David Wojnarowicz alongside the performer's own life. Wojnarowicz created a prolific body of work spanning visual arts, performance, non-fiction writing, music, film and queer activism while the AIDS epidemic upended arts and queer communities under a federal government that neglected the marginalised. The performance blends text, movement and projection, and takes an immersive form: audiences choose moments and stories in an organic, chance-based order — creating a fireside, communal feel. Running 30 minutes at The Snug, age guidance 16 and over.
Why see this show?
An intimate, audience-shaped solo piece in which you help determine what stories surface. The organic, chance-based structure makes each performance unique, and the subject matter — queer art and activism under hostile conditions — gives it real emotional weight in just 30 minutes.
