About Sophie Power

CVNT is a highly interactive bouffon show created and performed by Sophie Power. The show interrogates language, power, and what it means to be a woman, asking whether the worst word is really CVNT — or perhaps 'Can't'. Directed by Fabio Motta, with assistant direction by Elise Pascoe and dramaturgy by Emma Fawcett, it is co-devised by the whole team. It is a clown and comedy show for audiences aged 18 and over, running for 60 minutes at The Box.

Why see this show?

Anarchic, provocative clown work that takes its central provocation seriously. Sophie Power's show is as intellectually playful as it is carnivalesque — ideal for audiences who want their comedy to have something to say.
