About the show
Consumption is a dark comedy thriller from Beware of the Theatre. Charlie and Vic are a married couple in the suburbs who have kept themselves deliberately secluded from the outside world. When nosy neighbour Annette tries to befriend them, the couple's carefully maintained way of life is threatened. The show is billed as a fun, mysterious and cautionary tale of what happens when you hide who you are — and what you are up to. It runs for 85 minutes at The Studio, is suitable for ages 14 and over, and carries warnings for distressing themes, scenes of violence and strong language. Tickets are £11.
