Chronos is a 45-minute dance work by Congfang Xiao, Yu Ai, Cheng Cheng, Siqi Chen and Minghao Li, performed at Main Church Sanctuary as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Inspired by the ancient art of Dunhuang and combining hip hop dance, the piece presents a journey through fragmented dreams and realities, seeking the hidden landscapes of the self-conscious within the modern context. An encounter of goddesses comes alive from the Dunhuang mural, with costumes and visual materials designed by artist Lu Wang.
