Captain Dencade: the Lost (Now Found) Episode
Raimi Trilogy Productions • Amateur Company
About the show
Raimi Trilogy Productions brings a special sci-fi screening of the classic Captain Dencade to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Hosted by Thomas and Monty — the sons of the original stars, who bear an uncanny resemblance to their fathers — the pair arrive armed with facts, secrets and on-screen props to celebrate a newly restored episode. Their mission is to introduce this sixties original to a whole new generation. What could go wrong?
Why see this show?
Part screening, part comedy double act, this sixty-minute event at The Annexe is a charming oddity that pairs retro sci-fi with live hosting from two performers who are almost certainly exactly who they claim to be. Good fun for anyone who enjoys a wink at the audience.
