Wenjun Zhu and Stephan Fraser of LAC Art asbl. present Bond-Age, a piece of physical theatre that takes bondage as a metaphor for exploring pain and pleasure and the bonds and restrictions found in all kinds of relationships — between lovers, family members, an individual and their home country, a person and their gender role. The work asks whether we are tied down to anything or anyone, and whether freedom or connection serves us better. Characterised by multi-genre dance and original music, the piece is sensuous, symbolic and experimental. Running 40 minutes at Muse, for audiences aged 16 and above.
