Adapted from Jane Dunn's Virginia Woolf and Vanessa Bell: A Very Close Conspiracy, this one-woman show on Vanessa Bell is written, performed and painted by Kara Wilson. Vanessa and Virginia, sisters at the heart of the Bloomsbury Group, escaped from a rigid family household upon the death of their father to a liberated independence in the company of their brother's Cambridge friends where suddenly there were no rules. Vanessa remembers these heady times as she paints an oil study of Virginia some years after her sister's suicide.
