In 2023, Dave and his partner Claire had a son, Lui. The results of Lui's MRI found that he has scarring on his brain. There's lifelong implications for Lui. As treasured members of the Scottish comedy community – we want to do everything we can to help provide for Lui's needs, now and in the future. Last year this sold-out gig raised over £10,000. This year we're doing it all over again. Expect a spectacular line-up for this not to be missed festival highlight. All proceeds minus VAT, booking fees and Fringe commission go to Lui.

The Stand Comedy Club presents this special benefit gala in support of Lui, the son of Dave and his partner Claire. In 2023 Lui was born, and his MRI results revealed scarring on his brain with lifelong implications. As treasured members of the Scottish comedy community, The Stand has rallied to help provide for his needs. The evening promises a spectacular comedy line-up, with all proceeds minus VAT, booking fees and Fringe commission going directly to Lui.
