About Victoria Firth
Batty! is a new theatre production from Victoria Firth and Company exploring the wildness — as opposed to madness — of women, and how the feral side can reconnect us to ourselves and our environment. Batty dreams of running barefoot, wild swimming, talking trees and the scent of the seasons turning, and wonders if she might be a witch. Audiences are invited to join Batty and her companion Wildthing for gossip, gay abandon, exquisite tenderness and raucous stories with a side order of ranting, all exploring the magic and power of ageing. The show runs for 60 minutes at Playground 1.
Why see this show?
A raucous and tender new show about wildness, ageing and the feral side of women, complete with a companion called Wildthing. Victoria Firth blends gossip, ranting and genuine tenderness into an hour that feels joyfully untamed.
