Sherlock Holmes is not at home this evening. Neither is his friend and colleague Dr Watson. Mr Holmes is rarely home unless knee-deep in a case (and unavailable anyway) or otherwise desperately waiting for a good one to come along. But on this particular evening, whatever the case, he is elsewhere. Three ladies, all with strong ties to the great detective, one after another, are drawn towards and into 221b Baker Street in the hope of finding him at home.

About the show

Baker Street Ladies is a deft theatrical drama in which Sherlock Holmes is conspicuously absent from his famous address. Three women — each with strong ties to the great detective — arrive one after another at Baker Street, hoping to find him at home. What unfolds is a quietly compelling piece about the people who orbit a celebrated figure, told with warmth and wit. Created by Slade Wolfe Enterprises Limited, this neurodiversity-led production brings fresh eyes to one of literature's most enduring worlds.

Why see this show?

A clever, character-driven drama that puts the spotlight on the women in Sherlock Holmes's world for once. Witty, thoughtful and beautifully constructed — perfect for fans of Holmes and anyone who enjoys sharp, intimate theatre.
