The Bach Ensemble of Edinburgh return to Canongate Kirk for a programme of Baroque masterworks. Young soprano Angela Hicks performs the Bach Solo Cantata Mein Herze schwimmt im Blut, while Morven Bell on oboe delivers Marcello's much-loved Oboe Concerto in D minor. The programme also includes Handel's Concerto Grosso in F and Vivaldi's Concerto for 4 Violins in B Minor. A semi-professional ensemble presenting a richly varied acoustic classical concert running 70 minutes, suitable for ages 5 and over.
