Bach Complete Violin Solo I features Wolfgang David, a violinist from Vienna, performing Bach's Sonata No 1 and Partita No 1. Joining him is American composer and pianist David Gompper, who performs his own work Répondez I. David Gompper is a Professor of Composition at the University of Iowa and director of the Center for New Music. The show runs for 55 minutes at the Church as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and is suitable for audiences aged 14 and above. This is part one of three programmes.
