About Avani Films
Anu Vaidyanathan is an engineer, filmmaker, athlete and comedian named one of the Top 25 Comedy Voices from India. This work-in-progress show explores the juggle of family, friends and work — or possibly nursing a pet octopus with a highly inconvenient digestive condition. Anu was the first Asian woman to complete Ultraman Canada. Her comedy has featured on BBC, NPR and Comedy Central India. The show runs for 60 minutes at Just the Sub-Atomic Room and is suitable for ages 12 and over.
