About Brian Molley Quartet

Glasgow's Brian Molley Quartet present a new suite of music celebrating the Scottish roots of jazz, arguing that the genre is far more Scottish than most people think. The programme draws on traditional folk, Afro-Caribbean groove, gospel, hoedown and jig, ranging in geography from the islands of the Hebrides to the US East Coast. This 60-minute concert at Partially Seated is described as exhilarating jazz from a group of Scotland's finest musicians, and is suitable for audiences aged 8 and over.
