Artists on the Frontline, Ahmed Tobasi and Welcome to the Fringe present And Here I Am, a powerful Palestinian solo show based on the life of and performed by Ahmed Tobasi. Spanning the First and Second Intifada, it follows an epic journey from the battle-scarred alleys of Jenin Camp to the confines of Israeli prison, from armed resistance against invasion to cultural resistance against eradication. Written by Hassan Abdulrazzak, the piece combines fact and fantasy, tragedy and comedy in an extraordinary odyssey of defiance and the unbreakable pursuit of freedom. Running for 75 minutes at Town Hall, for audiences aged 18 and over.
